In her formative years as a vocalist Karlea Lynné made a lasting impression on Florida’s music scene.
She’d headlined The Lakeland Jazz Festival, performed at The Tampa Bay and Wesley Chapel Jazz Festivals, respectively, won a National Young Arts Foundation Award and won the first-ever Berklee College of Music’s Jazz soloist competition.
Karlea Lynné studied at Berklee College of Music where she had the opportunity to learn from industry giants such as Debra Byrd and Sheila Jordan.
Now NYC-based , Karlea Lynné can be found serving music for the soul throughout the region at many venues including Minton’s Playhouse, SOB’S, The Cell, The House of Blues, South Jazz Kitchen, The Rainbow Room, Smalls Jazz Club, and Jazz at Lincoln Center!
She has also shared the stage with many greats such as Winard Harper, Jason Marshall, Lonnie Plaxico, Bertha Hope, Jerome Jennings and many more.
Heavily influenced by Nancy Wilson, Sarah Vaughan and Dinah Washington, Karlea's sound is just one of her unforgettable assets that charms every audience she encounters.
